Dallas Stars vs Vancouver Canucks Live Online Streaming

First of four meetings this season. Each team won twice last season, but Vancouver captured the series by virtue of most points, going 2-1-1 with a shootout loss. Roberto Luongo won both his starts against Dallas, while Ryan Kesler led all scorers in the series with three goals. Looking to bounce back from a rare non-playoff season, Dallas has captured points in all three of its games. Vancouver, the defending Northwest Division champion, got off to an awful start but regained a lot of confidence by routing Montreal by a 7-1 score on Wednesday.

This is the conclusion of a three-game road trip through western Canada for Dallas, which rested starting goalie Marty Turco against Calgary on Friday and got a solid performance from new backup Alex Auld. Turco should be back in net on Sunday, but after he struggled late last season under a heavy workload, the early indication that Auld should be reliable has to be welcome news for the Stars.

Nothing less than two points was needed against Montreal to prevent panic from setting in, and Vancouver delivered it with authority. One win doesn't erase the poor start the Canucks got off to, however, and the next step is to try to put a winning streak together. "It's nice to get the win finally after four games," Luongo said after stopping 27 shots to beat the Canadiens. "We spoke about relaxing before the game and just going out there and just having fun, playing our game, and not worry about our record right now."

Anaheim Ducks vs New York Rangers Live Online Streaming

This is the first meeting of the season between the cross-country combatants. The New York Rangers took both meetings last season, including a 4-2 win at Madison Square Garden in late January. Confidence was high to start this season after a postseason run that saw the Ducks come within one goal of eliminating the Red Wings. And following an 0-1-1 start, Anaheim has responded with a decisive win at Boston and a come-from-behind shootout victory in Philadelphia.

There's been a little something different in each of their three victories. They won an up-and-down, fast-paced game with Ottawa, figured out a way to edge the defensive-minded Devils, and rallied on the road to beat Alex Ovechkin and the high-flying Capitals. Wins are always a nice way to get the players to believe in a coach. In order for a team to believe in the system, there has to be some success," Rangers coach John Tortorella told the New York Post. "The mindset is very important." The Rangers seem to have their heads in the right place to start this season.

After losing to the defending Stanley Cup-champion Penguins on the night they raised their banner, the Rangers have won three straight against the Senators, Devils and Capitals. The Ducks, playing their second game in less than 24 hours, are on a two-game win streak of their own.
